Lear Corporation Signs Commitment for New Asia Corporate Headquarters
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Oct. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lear Corporation [NYSE: LEA], a leading global supplier of automotive seating and electrical distribution systems, yesterday held a signing ceremony with Shanghai government officials to relocate Lear Asia’s corporate headquarters and its regional state-of-the-art Product and Technology Center to new locations in the Yangpu District. The move underscores Lear’s strategic commitment to its manufacturing customers in China and Asia.

Lear expects to occupy its new locations by February 2014 for its 600 Shanghai employees, which will continue as the regional headquarters overseeing Lear facilities throughout Asia and Australia.
