SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Dec. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lear Corporation (NYSE: LEA), a leading global supplier of automotive seating systems and electrical distribution and power management systems, announced today that its Warrants to purchase Common Stock, par value $0.01 per share, issued in connection with Lear's emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, have become exercisable.

As of December 21, 2009, Lear had 8,155,353 Warrants outstanding. The Warrants are exercisable on a one-for-one basis for an aggregate of up to 8,155,353 shares of Lear Common Stock at an exercise price of $0.01 per share of Common Stock. The Warrants expire at 5:00 p.m. New York City Time on November 9, 2014.

Holders may exercise the Warrants by delivering a notice of election to exercise the Warrants to Mellon Investor Services, as Warrant Agent, in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Warrant Agreement, dated November 9, 2009.
