Lear Announces Details for 2007 Annual Stockholders' Meeting
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lear Corporation (NYSE:
LEA) today announced that its 2007 annual meeting of stockholders will
be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Hotel du Pont, located on 11th
and Market Streets, Wilmington, Delaware 19801, commencing at 10:00 a.m.
Eastern Daylight Time.
At the meeting, stockholders will be asked to vote on, among other
things, a management proposal to amend the Company's Certificate of
Incorporation to declassify the Board of Directors and, if presented,
the adoption of the merger agreement between the Company and certain
affiliates of Carl Icahn. The record date for determination of
stockholders entitled to notice of, and vote at, the meeting is the
close of business on Monday, May 14, 2007.
