Thomas DiDonato

Thomas DiDonato is Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, Human Resources at Lear Corporation. In this role, DiDonato provides the strategic direction and operational leadership for global human resources and serves as a member of the Company’s Executive Council.

Prior to joining Lear in 2012, DiDonato served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources, American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. where he led global Human Resources, Public Affairs and Communications.

Previously, he was Chief People Officer for The H.J. Heinz Company after joining the company as Vice President, Human Resources for Heinz North America, in 2001. Earlier experiences included leading Human Resources for a $14 Billion division of Merck & Co. and heading worldwide staffing for PepsiCo. DiDonato began his career in 1982 as Human Resources Manager at Kraft General Foods and moved up to manage the personnel at its largest manufacturing facility.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, DiDonato earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Washington & Jefferson College and a Master of Science degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. He is active in the community, having served on the American Eagle Outfitters Foundation and the H.J. Heinz Company Foundation.
